1 August 2007 - DSales (UK) Ltd has launched of the ineo+451 colour multifunctional featuring copy, network print, and network scan functionality as standard. Print speed is 45 pages per minute for colour or black and white output. As the ineo+451 has been designed as a replacement for traditional black and white copiers, it prints black and white documents at virtually the same price as a conventional monochrome machine but users get the added benefit of colour output.
The new induction-heat fusing used by the ineo+451 means it has a warm up time of only 85 seconds and is prints from standby in just 12 seconds. Lower temperature induction-heat fusing means there is less drying to the paper, reducing paper curl and increasing reliability as a result. This is especially important for double sided duplex printing. The ineo+ 451 has an innovative paper path that makes it just as fast in duplex mode as it is in simplex, so customers can cut paper usage by up to half.
The ineo+ 451 has been designed for user convenience with a StatusLine running around the machine showing LED indicators for paper levels, job processing and so on, so users need not even leave their desks to check the system’s operational status. When they walk over to the machine, its large, full-colour 8.5-inch LCD touch panel tilts and swivels to ensure excellent readability, even for wheelchair users or in sunlight.
Standard capacity for the ineo+ 451 is 3,650 sheets, which can be optionally extended to 6,650 sheets. Paper up to A+ is size and 256gsm can be used with 300gsm weights printed via the bypass facility. Professional-quality banners using specially supplied paper, or shop-window posters can also be produced. Print quality is excellent thanks to Develops’ high-density polymerised toner. It is highly UV-resistant and produces crisper, clearer images because the toner particles are smaller and smoother than ever before.
There is a choice of two print controllers. The standard ineo controller is designed for normal office users who simply want to print the usual office documents. For more sophisticated graphs output an optional Fiery controller is available with sophisticated colour management tools.
The ineo+ 451 offers a range of sophisticated finishing functions, which adds to its appeal as a monochrome replacement. The economical, space-saving embedded finisher offers punching and saddle-stitching functions and an optional mail bin. Two floor-stand finishers are available including a booklet maker for binding up to 80 pages.
For DSales (UK) (Develop’s British distributor) Jonathan Whitworth, Managing Director says, “The ineo+ 451 is one of the new generation of Develop systems aimed at making colour printing and copying available to customers without incurring a penalty on black and white output. This makes it the ideal upgrade system. The high quality Develop polymerised toner is also economically priced compared to competitors making running costs for the ineo+ 451 very attractive”.
