Compactline 2.0 – Innovation-award-winning compact coder...
Printer, control unit and keypad together form a very compact whole. This tiny machine will slot in easily almost anywhere, even where space is at a premium. Compactline 2.0 uses HP thermal inkjet technology to print on a wide variety of products and types of packaging, including solid and corrugated cardboard boxes and trays, aluminium foil seals and pharmaceutical blister packs, wood battens and paper labels. Up to 99 of these machines can be networked together, making Compactline 2.0 into a highly flexible and efficient system.
The HP print cartridge is inserted in a single movement, and the printer is ready to go once more. The system is capable of a wide variety of coding jobs at resolutions up to 600dpi. It will print manufacturing and sell-by and use-by information, serial numbers, dates, times, shift codes and much more. Varying text matrix configurations allow the creation of character heights of between 1.5 and approx. 4.5mm. Compactline 2.0 will print at speeds of up to 150 metres per minute.
The 4-line graphic-capable LCD with combined membrane keypad enables intuitive text and data input. Operation is menu-guided and self-explanatory. Date, time and counters can, for example, be inserted as automatic functions during text creation and are clearly visible in the LCD. This data is constantly updated during the printing process.
Daily care and maintenance of the print cartridge takes less than a minute. After the ink reservoir has been used up, the cartridge is changed so that you always have a new print head straight from the factory, ready for many more clear, precise print jobs.
