TallyGenicom, a leading provider of focused business printers, is celebrating its recent success at the Document Management (DM) Awards. Its 9050 mono laser printer was awarded the accolade of ‘Printer Product of the Year’. The prestigious DM Awards took place at the scenic Tower Guoman Hotel at St. Katherine’s Dock, London.
The annual DM Awards allows the readers of Document Manager magazine to reward the outstanding products, suppliers and projects of the year and represents an unparalleled opportunity to celebrate individual and corporate success. Following a lavish three-course dinner, comedian Stephen Grant opened the ceremony with his witty repertoire before Event Director Stuart Leigh joined him on stage to present the awards.
“We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award, particularly as it is voted for by the readers of the Document Manager Magazine, who demand the most from the products, technologies and services each year,” said TallyGenicom Executive Vice-President for EMEA, Robin Edwardes. “The 9050 has been designed to be the cornerstone of any printer fleet, with the capacity to cope with immense workloads, including the collation of vital meeting materials, thereby providing an unparalleled solution for mission critical printing tasks.”
"This was a terrific night for the industry, with so many new names among the winners as well as the 'usual suspects,’” says Document Manager Magazine Editor, Dave Tyler. “I was delighted to see companies such as TallyGenicom featuring alongside industry giants such as EMC and Fujitsu: it reflects the breadth of interest from our readers in all sorts of document-related technologies."
As the flagship mono laser printer, the 9050 is equipped with a powerful 533Mhz processor incorporating Intelliprint Architecture and 256Mb of memory. With up to six input trays for a variety of paper sizes, types and weights including transparencies, it provides print runs of 300,000 pages per month and is therefore, equipped to deal with the most demanding jobs in the office. It also features TallyGenicom’s unique TG Forms solution, which enables organisations to reduce the need for ready printed stationery and invoice templates.
