TallyGenicom, a leading provider of focussed business printers, today announced a series of groundbreaking changes to its service agreements. TallyGenicom will now provide its customers with guaranteed next business day response to ensure the full support of business critical print operations – keeping processes running in case of a printer failure.
The pressures associated with the current economic climate have created the need for organisations to minimise expenditure, while still receiving the same level of support. TallyGenicom has devised three service initiatives, including:
Express Exchange*:
Express Exchange is an effective way for end users to minimise printer downtime. A TallyGenicom engineer is guaranteed to attend the site next business day and if the fault cannot be fixed within 15 minutes, the printer will be swapped. The outer casing of the printer will remain, ensuring that asset tags and other important company information is not lost. The printer engine and all moving parts will be replaced with all consumables exchanged from the faulty unit to the replacement model. All printers will be re-configured by TallyGenicom to ensure that all settings match specific systems requirements.
Onsite*:
On-Site contracts guarantee a next day response by a TallyGenicom trained engineer. All spare parts are included free of charge and customers are not limited to a specified number of call-outs or technical support. Lifed parts, such as print heads, are not included within the contract, but will be fitted free of charge.
Enhanced Contract*:
The enhanced contract is the most comprehensive service contract from TallyGenicom and will provide continued support for business critical print solutions. Under this Contract, TallyGenicom customers can rely on a TallyGenicom trained engineer to visit site next business day and the service agreement includes free spares as well as free lifed parts, such as print heads.
To ensure that TallyGenicom responds to all customer queries promptly it will provide each customer with an individual contact telephone number to phone. This number will connect customers directly with their assigned TallyGenicom Technical Support Engineer in the UK.

Our technical support centre is also capable of solving the majority of the faults over the phone.”
All the service agreements can be integrated into TallyGenicom’s existing service initiatives, such as Lifetime Warranty.
