International Fashion Retailer Chooses TallyGenicom’s Focused Responsive Printers...

TallyGenicom, a leading provider of focused, responsive business printers, today announced that Jaeger, the designer fashion retailer, is rolling out 75 of its industry leading printers across its head-office and stores throughout the UK. The deal includes 73 9025N mono-laser printers and two T8024 colour-laser printers under TallyGenicom’s unique rent-free programme.

Jaeger is an international designer fashion retailer that has achieved global brand recognition, with over 100 stores worldwide. It is renowned for its modern, elegant clothing in a classic style; in both men’s and ladies wear collections.

Previously, Jaeger had expensive HP printers installed in its head-office but no printers in its stores. As part of a new back-office system, it needed to install printers in all of its stores across the UK to ensure that administration responsibilities could be completed on site. Jaeger is now in the process of having 75 TallyGenicom printers installed across the UK.

“We met TallyGenicom and loved the concept of its rent-free scheme,” explained Jaeger’s IT Manager, Bob Gurney. “The rent-free programme means that TallyGenicom maintain and service our printers. Previously with HP we had to do this ourselves and it proved extremely costly.”

TallyGenicom’s rent-free scheme is a unique programme where it supplies and manages printers free of charge to its customers over a period of three years. The customer enjoys the benefits of a completely managed service with next business day response. Fully trained TallyGenicom engineers will also install the printer and fully maintain it within the three-year period of the loan.

“The running cost and ongoing cost of ownership of the printers was a major factor in our purchasing decision,” added Gurney. “The great thing about the TallyGenicom rent-free programme is that there are no capital costs, saving us money, and the service aspect that saves us time.”
